Effective Date: July 1, 2025

All equine bodywork services are provided by Penny Leitow, a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist who is fully insured and trained in equine bodywork including massage therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral techniques, KTape application, and energy modalities. By scheduling an appointment with Wild Guardian Wellness, you (the “Client”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms and policies:

1. HANDLER REQUIREMENT
For the safety of everyone involved, a qualified handler must be present and available throughout the entire session. If no handler is present, the session may be canceled at the discretion of Wild Guardian Wellness and subject to our cancellation policy.

2. SESSION PREPARATION & ARRIVAL
Clients must have their horse clean, dry, and ready at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled session. Please secure the horse in a quiet, low-traffic area to promote relaxation and focus during bodywork.

3. LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be automatically canceled and charged in full under our cancellation policy. At our discretion, we may still provide a shortened session if possible. This is done to maintain fairness for all scheduled clients.

4. CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY
We require notice to reschedule or cancel appointments as follows:
  • Single session: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance
  • Multiple sessions (2 or more horses): Cancel at least 48 hours in advance
Fees:
  • No-show or late cancellations (less than 24/48 hours): Full service fee applies
  • Cancellation fee may be deducted from your deposit or charged to your account
  • Repeated late cancellations may result in loss of scheduling privileges
We understand emergencies happen. Cancellations may be waived on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Penny Leitow/Wild Guardian Wellness.

5. TRAVEL POLICIES
Travel fees are generally included. However, if your location is outside our standard travel radius, or if you have only one horse at the edge of our service area, an additional travel fee may apply. You will be notified prior to scheduling.

6. PAYMENT TERMS
  • Full payment is due at the end of your appointment
  • Deposits paid to reserve a session will be applied to the final total
  • Additional services suggested during a session are optional, and the client will be informed of any extra charges before proceeding
  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Credit Card (may include fee), PayPal, Venmo, or Check (returning clients only)
  • Package payments must be paid in full at the first appointment
7. REFUND POLICY
All payments and deposits are non-refundable, including:

  • Cancellations not made in accordance with the policy above.
8. CONFIDENTIALITY AND CONVERSATION
All communication between the client and Wild Guardian Wellness is considered confidential. While we welcome open communication, we reserve the right to avoid topics of a political, religious, or deeply personal nature.

It is the client’s responsibility to disclose any known medical conditions, behavioral issues, injuries, or medications affecting the animal. If necessary, we may request written approval from your veterinarian or other healthcare providers before continuing services.

11. VETERINARY DISCLAIMER
